About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position as a Certified Surgical Tech focuses on providing vital surgical assistance within the Operating Room. Responsibilities include preparing for surgical procedures by performing routine and delegated duties, assisting in nursing care, and maintaining a sterile environment. The role requires expertise in handling surgical equipment and collaborating efficiently during operations.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.36 to $45.34 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting surgical field preparation and creating sterile environments.
- Providing direct assistance to surgeons during procedures.
- Collaborating with registered nurses and other surgical team members for optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitoring and maintaining functionality and safety of surgical equipment.
- Staying informed on surgical protocols and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- NBSTSA or NCCT certification.
- Travel experience in similar settings.
- Orthopedic and scrubbing experience.
- Experience with the Davinci robotic system.
- BLS certification.
- Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience.
- Proficiency in cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of operating room equipment.
