About the Opportunity:
As a CT Technologist on a part-time contract basis, you provide diagnostic imaging services from Friday to Sunday, 7pm to 7:30am EST. You confirm patient identity and exam details prior to scans, ensuring adherence to patient safety protocols. You coordinate with physicians to deliver quality imaging services and prepare patients by explaining procedures to ensure comfort. You manage IV insertions as needed and position patients accordingly, maintaining safe handling practices. You maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC system and ensure images are correctly dispatched to PACS systems. Additionally, you maintain a clean and secure scanning facility. Note that on-call duties entail 2-3 shifts monthly to meet unit needs.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $68.75 to $81.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting position).
- Two years' experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Injection therapy certification stated on NYS license at submission.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
