About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a CT Technologist, providing expert imaging services, including both CT scans and X-rays, to patients of all ages in a low-volume, steady-paced orthopedic imaging setting. This is a full-time contract position, requiring overnight shifts from midnight to 8:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Initial training occurs during day shifts for the first two weeks. Daily tasks involve working independently to address the needs of up to 20 patients, primarily focused on orthopedic exams conducted in exam room settings or through portable equipment. Patient interactions span across pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct essential imaging assessments, including CT scans and X-rays.
- Operate Siemens equipment effectively and safely.
- Monitor and document patient procedures and progress accurately.
- Adapt to changing caseloads and patient needs across multiple departments.
- Stay informed and updated on imaging practices and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- NYS License with IV Certification.
- ARRT R & ARRT CT Certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant settings.
- Experience with Siemens equipment and Epic system preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds.
- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required with no exemptions.
