About the Opportunity:
The Financial Analyst position involves analyzing financial statements, statistical reports, cost analyses, and more to support operational and capital budgeting. This role includes managing budget requests and providing financial advice to meet hospital needs. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $34.10 to $40.30 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation of operational and capital budgets and financial reports.
- Monitor budget expenditures and prepare written reports for hospital management.
- Collaborate with financial managers to analyze and resolve budget variances.
- Provide cost allocation information for university personnel.
- Recommend personnel actions and manage team dynamics.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in financial management or cost accounting.
- Expertise in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- CPA preferred.
