About the Opportunity:
The Monitor Tech provides critical monitoring and evaluation of patients through the conduct of various diagnostic tests, such as Electroencephalogram (EEG) and Evoked Potential (EP). This part-time contract position requires expertise in neurodiagnostic procedures and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting EEG and Evoked Potential assessments for accurate diagnostic results.
- Providing assistance during neurodiagnostic procedures in operating rooms.
- Collaborating with neuroscientists and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress during diagnostics.
- Staying informed on advancements in neurophysiologic testing methodologies.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required; 2 years college preferred.
- Graduation from accredited neuroelectrodiagnostic training program or equivalent experience required.
- Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) by ABRET required.
- 3-5 years of experience performing EEG and/or EP required.
- Knowledge of applicable computer operating systems and software required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
