About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting full-time contract opportunity for a CT Technologist at a specialty hospital in New York, NY. The role involves performing CT and X-ray imaging in a low-volume orthopedic setting. The position requires proficiency in operating Siemens equipment and conducting orthopedic exams on both adults and pediatrics, using portable equipment as necessary. The work schedule follows night shifts with a requirement to work independently due to low volume.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting CT and X-ray imaging for orthopedic exams.
- Operating Siemens equipment.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals across multiple departments.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and maintaining records.
Job Requirements:
- Certified in ARRT CT and ARRT R.
- Valid NYS License and IV Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, or adult ICU settings.
- Preferred experience with the Epic charting system.
- Ability to lift or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds.
