About the Opportunity:
The role of a CT Technologist in this part-time contract position involves performing CT scans and X-rays for patients in a low-volume, steady-paced orthopedic setting. The position entails working overnight shifts independently, conducting orthopedic exams in exam rooms or with portable equipment across multiple departments.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting CT scans and X-rays, operating Siemens equipment efficiently.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care during imaging processes.
- Monitoring and documenting patient imaging results.
- Provide imaging services in various hospital departments, including inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings.
Job Requirements:
- NYS License with IV Certification.
- ARRT R & ARRT CT Certifications.
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
- Experience operating Siemens equipment.
- Proficiency in conducting both CT scans and X-rays.
- Comfortable working independently on overnight shifts.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment over 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices.
