About the Opportunity:
This contract position involves delivering comprehensive computed tomography (CT) services to patients. As a CT Technologist, you operate advanced radiographic equipment, perform diagnostic imaging procedures, and ensure accurate results. You engage with patients to provide care and support during their scans, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and standards. You work closely with radiologists and medical staff to provide timely and quality care. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting specific imaging assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing patient education regarding procedures.
- Collaborating with radiologists to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in charting systems like EPIC.
- Staying informed on radiographic technology and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency with Apex scanner and GE systems.
- High School diploma/GED (required).
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (required).
- NYS license in Radiography and certification by NYS to inject contrast media (required).
- ARRT certification in Radiography & Computed Tomography.
- Maintenance of CE credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience (required).
