About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Monitor Technician, providing specialized intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring to patients during surgeries. Primary duties include analyzing and interpreting electrophysiological waveforms, ensuring patient safety, and enhancing surgical outcomes through close monitoring. This role requires interacting with surgical teams to adjust monitoring approaches based on real-time data and observations.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $33.00 to $39.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting neurophysiological assessments and creating detailed monitoring plans.
- Providing real-time interpretation of evoked potentials during surgical procedures.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to optimize patient care and safety.
- Monitoring and documenting neurophysiologic changes throughout procedures.
- Staying informed on advancements in neurophysiological monitoring techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) required by ABRET.
- High school diploma or GED (required); two years of college preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited neuroelectrodiagnostic training program or equivalent experience (required).
- 3-5 years of experience performing EEG and/or Evoked Potential monitoring (required).
- Knowledge of applicable computer operating systems and software (required).
