About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves providing specialized care as a Nurse Practitioner at a Neurosurgical and Spine Institute. The role focuses on delivering both inpatient and acute care, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, and managing primary surgical wounds. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $117.70 to $139.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for neurosurgical and spine conditions.
- Provide inpatient and acute therapeutic procedures including diagnostic taps and therapeutic care.
- Collaborate with medical doctors, registered nurses, and medical assistants to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress within the Epic system.
- Stay informed on the latest neurosurgical care research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery.
- Active license in South Carolina.
- Clean background check.
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records.
