About the Opportunity:
This RN PICU position provides specialized care to critically ill neonates, infants, and adolescents in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care unit. The role requires completing specific assessments, implementing complex care plans, and effectively managing high-acuity patients. Opportunities exist for those with Level 1 Trauma Experience and post-bone marrow transplant management skills. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, and telemetry services.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Staying informed on the latest in pediatric intensive care practices.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- AHA BLS and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric intensive care experience.
- Skills in conscious sedation, ICP management, telemetry, ventilator care, and central line management.
- CCRN certification and experience in a Level 1 Trauma center preferred.
