About the Opportunity:
This opportunity offers a full-time contract position for an RN in the ICU. The role involves providing intensive care to patients with complex needs, including neuro and medical conditions, cardiovascular surgeries, and trauma. The RN collaborates with a team to deliver comprehensive care, utilizing specialized equipment like CRRT and Prismaflex. The position requires floating to different units as needed, excluding Behavioral and ER unless holding.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $46.28 to $54.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for ICU patients including Neuro, Med, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma.
- Providing intensive care and support for patients with critical and complex conditions.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Staying informed on best practices and advances in intensive care treatment.
Job Requirements:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS Report verification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU.
- Preferred 4-5 years of experience in intensive care units.
- Experience with CRRT, Prismaflex, and heart-related care highly preferred.
- EMR experience with EPIC required.
