About the Opportunity:
Serve as a CT Technologist providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services to a diverse patient population. Handle a night shift from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday, with alternating weekends. This is a full-time contract position lasting 59 days.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $60.50 to $71.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT imaging assessments and prepare patients for procedures.
- Administer contrast media as certified by New York State (NYS).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory and pharmacy services.
- Monitor and document patient imaging results using PACS and other relevant software.
- Stay informed on radiation safety and industry best practices.
Job Requirements:
- BLS certification and graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
- NYS license in Radiography and certification to inject contrast media.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Maintain continuing education credits as required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Diagnostic Imaging, with recent CT experience preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR, RIS, HIS, and modality-specific software.
- Previous charge experience and EPIC charting system experience are preferred.
