About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to provide specialized care to neonates and infants in a Level IV NICU setting. This is a full-time contract position with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts. The role requires providing high-quality care, managing advanced medical equipment, and floating to other units like PICU and CICU when needed. You also assist in emergency situations, perform complex nursing procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $51.70 to $61.10 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized assessments and create care plans for neonates and infants.
- Provide advanced therapies and educate families on neonatal care procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with NICU protocols.
- Stay informed on neonatal research and best practices in NICU care.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- BSN Required.
- AHA BLS and NRP Certifications.
- 3 years of experience in Level IV NICU.
- Experience with vent management, trach management, telemetry, and line management.
- Ability to float to PICU and CICU with UVCs and UACs experience.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
