About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse in a contract position. This role involves providing surgical care to patients, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques, and collaborating with surgical teams to deliver exceptional healthcare services. You work four 10-hour shifts, typically ranging from 7 am to 6 pm, and participate in rotating call duty.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.71 to $63.47 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Provide intraoperative care by assisting surgeons and maintaining sterile environments.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate surgical care.
- Monitor and document patient condition and recovery progress.
- Stay informed on surgical best practices and emerging technologies.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current/Active NY nursing license in hand.
- BLS certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting.
