About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing exceptional perioperative nursing care in an Operating Room (OR) setting. As an OR RN, you handle patient assessments, create care plans, and serve as a circulating nurse for surgeries in specialties such as GYN, General Surgery, OHNS, Urology, Plastics/Breast, Pain Management, and Robotic-Assisted Surgeries. You have the ability to float to other facilities within the network as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create perioperative care plans.
- Provide intraoperative nursing care, including circulating for various surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure patient safety and effective care delivery.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the surgical experience.
Job Requirements:
- California RN License and BSN.
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience with extensive experience as an OR RN Circulator in multiple surgical specialties.
- Preferred experience in circulating Ophthalmology and scrub experience in at least two lines of business.
- CNOR certification preferred.
