About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position involves providing specialized care in the Burn Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include administering care for critical burn patients, utilizing advanced burn care techniques, and delivering compassionate patient support. The ability to float to other UCSF Facilities is required.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of burn injuries and create individualized care plans.
- Provide critical care, including arterial line management and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress meticulously.
- Stay informed on the latest research and techniques in burn care and critical care settings.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License and BSN.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS for Burn Care certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Critical Care.
- Preferred experience in Burn Unit and Pediatrics with 1-year pediatrics experience.
- Skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, and infection prevention.
- Prior travel experience within the last 12 months.
