About the Opportunity:
This Nurse Practitioner position focuses on delivering specialized care in Medical Oncology and Hematology to adult patients in an outpatient setting. Candidates actively conduct patient rounding, work 1:1 with a Medical Oncologist, and engage in comprehensive treatment planning to best address patient needs. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $98.23 to $116.09 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with oncologists.
- Monitor and document treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
- Collaborate closely with medical staff for optimal patient care coordination.
Job Requirements:
- Active WA Nurse Practitioner license for Medical Oncology/Hematology.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR systems.
- Experience in outpatient settings preferred.
- Documentation of hematology/medical oncology services within the last 24 months.
