About the Opportunity
Our client is an alternative investment firm with over 30 years of managing assets totaling around $6.8 billion. They are seeking a dynamic Desktop Engineer to provide technical support within a dynamic trading environment. In this role, you will actively contribute to engineering, deploying, and maintaining systems and applications essential to their end-users. You will be responsible for tasks like new software deployments, imaging of machines, application packaging, and managing their internal systems. The team has been together for a while, and they are looking for a new voice that can come in and not only implement new ideas and technologies, but also best practices and procedures.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and management tools
- Perform implementation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance within MECM/SCCM/Intune Enterprise environment
- Windows 10/11 image creation, customization of features and deployment across enterprise
- Create software packages via various methods including packaging for physical and virtual desktops for deployment to the enterprise
- Collaborate with other teams, including IT Support, Infrastructure, Security, and other related groups
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Management Information Systems or Computer Sciences
- 6+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure exposure supporting end-user systems in an enterprise environment
- 2+ years of experience in engineering and implementing end-user systems in an enterprise environment
- Administration-level knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows Operating Systems
