The annual base salary range is $280,000 to $325,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing patients through diabetes care – lifestyle guidance, medication management, and insulin therapy
- Evaluating and treating pituitary disorders such as growth hormone deficiency, Cushing’s syndrome, and prolactinomas
- Delivering personalized care for a broad range of endocrine conditions, from diagnosis through treatment planning
- Treating metabolic bone diseases including osteoporosis and osteomalacia
- Diagnosing and managing thyroid conditions like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and nodules
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of PCPs, nurses, dietitians, and specialists
- Managing adrenal disorders, including Addison’s disease and adrenal insufficiency
- Educating patients and families on self-management and treatment options
- Contributing to hospital quality initiatives and committee work
Job Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine
- Completed fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Eligible for unrestricted NY State medical licensure
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous learning
