About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established, community-focused medical group that has been serving New York City for over two decades, is seeking several dedicated Primary Care NPs and PAs to join their growing teams in Brooklyn or Staten Island. Fluency in Cantonese is strongly preferred to meet the needs of the surrounding communities. Full-time and Part-time schedules available!
The annual base salary range is $160,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver routine primary care for patients of varying ages, including health assessments, preventive visits, chronic disease management, and follow-up care
- Provide culturally aligned patient education and support, particularly for Cantonese-speaking individuals
- Review diagnostic results, coordinate referrals, and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives that support community wellness
- Work closely with nursing staff, care managers, and other providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Support walk-in and same-day care needs as appropriate
Job Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in New York
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or community health strongly preferred; new graduates considered
- Cantonese language proficiency highly preferred to serve local patient populations
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to community-based care
- Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient setting
