About the Opportunity
We’re seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality digestive health care to join our client’s modern outpatient setting in Prospect Heights. The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $165,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Gastroenterology evaluations and follow-up visits
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practice
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions in accordance with New York State regulations
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Educate patients regarding disease management, preventive care, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and continuing education activities
Job Requirements
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Minimum of one year of Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner experience
- Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
