About the Opportunity
We’re partnered with a well-established, mission-driven community health organization that is seeking a General Dentist to join its collaborative dental team in the Bronx. This is a great opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients, practice comprehensive dentistry, and make a lasting impact in an underserved community.
The annual base salary range is $165,000 to $180,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive, restorative, and diagnostic dental care for patients across the lifespan
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the teeth, gums, and surrounding oral structures
- Develop individualized treatment plans while educating patients on oral health and disease prevention
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, primary care providers, and specialty clinicians to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Ensure infection prevention protocols and quality standards are consistently followed
- Promote a welcoming, respectful, and culturally responsive patient experience
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support organizational goals related to community health
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution
- Active New York State dental license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
