About the Opportunity
Our client is a boutique advisory and professional services firm seeking a Senior Consultant/Manager to work with their private equity clients. This position expands their growing Enterprise Performance Management team and will involve designing and executing realistic yet innovative solutions using the Anaplan platform. The Senior Consultant/Manager will work with their clients on a project-by-project basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead projects and implementations from initiation to client go-live and beyond
- Learn and apply the firm’s implementation methodologies
- Prepare for and conduct business requirement interviews
- Document business requirements, processes (levels 1, 2, and 3), and data/reporting requirements
- Understand the client’s existing business processes and assist the client in defining improved business solutions based on the client’s strategic goals and constraints, based on the firm’s accelerator templates
- Work with clients to analyze their current and future business needs, recommend best practice solutions and define and document project deliverables for these solutions
- Architect and build Anaplan models, ensuring that they are created with the end user and business process in mind
- Minimize overall exposure and risk on projects
- Deepen your knowledge of how Anaplan can improve FP&A, Sales & Performance Management, Incentive Compensation, Territory & Quota Management and other processes for the alternative investment industry and other industries as our EPM business continues to expand beyond the investment industry.
- Manage project progress, monitoring milestones, and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of schedule and identify/mitigate risk
- Produce detailed status reports, track actions, and manage progress meetings
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance
- 4+ years of combined experience in Business Consulting, Business Analysis, Project Management, System Implementations (SDLC), Audit, Accounting or Operations preferably within the Alternative Investment industry
- Exceptional communication, organization, interpersonal & client-service skills
- Mastery of business analysis methodologies along with a demonstrable record of requirements elicitation and documentation;
- Expert of Anaplan or similar EPM technologies and/or extensive experience in creating Excel models
- Able to deliver presentations and training in a formal environment
- Proven skills in documentation, process mapping (Visio), and other Microsoft Office tools
- The ability to interact with vendors and partners to acquire technical information critical to a project’s requirements, costs or execution
- Flexibility for travel (30%)
