About the Opportunity:
The Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) provides specialized care in radiology cardiology to enhance patient treatment and outcomes. This full-time contract position operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Responsibilities include assisting in electrophysiological studies, maintaining and operating EP Lab devices, and working closely with cardiology teams to ensure accurate data collection and patient monitoring.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $66.00 to $78.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrophysiological studies and create comprehensive care plans.
- Provide guidance on specialized electrophysiology and cardiology techniques.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Monitor and document electrophysiology study results and patient progress.
- Stay informed on developments in electrophysiology research and practice.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology or cardiovascular technology.
- Current RCES, IBHRE, or RCIS Certification required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings.
- Proficiency in EP Lab devices and knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
