About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) for a full-time contract position specializing in Radiology Cardiology. The EP Tech provides diagnostic and therapeutic technologies in the management of cardiac arrhythmias. The position requires strong skills in operating EP lab equipment and understanding cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care Monday-Friday from 7a-3p.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $66.00 to $78.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrophysiology assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing therapy and education for arrhythmia intervention.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on current electrophysiology research and practice.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology or equivalent education and experience.
- Valid RCES, IBHRE, or RCIS Certification.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an EP Lab setting.
- Experience with EP Lab devices and equipment.
- Charting experience with Epic system preferred.
