About the Opportunity:
The Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) position focuses on providing specialized radiology and cardiology services to patients in a clinical setting. This role involves working with advanced EP Lab devices and equipment and applying knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. This is a full-time contract position, operating Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $66.00 to $78.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments in the electrophysiology lab and create appropriate care plans.
- Provide electrophysiology therapy and patient education.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and procedures using the EPIC charting system.
- Stay informed on current research and best practices in cardiac electrophysiology.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology, or equivalent education and experience.
- RCES Credential, IBHRE Certification, or RCIS Certification required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology lab.
- Proficiency with EP Lab devices and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
