About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position requires a Physician specializing in GI/Endoscopy services. The role includes providing coverage at Moses Cone and Wesley Long Hospitals, managing patient care primarily for adults and geriatric age groups. The position includes no call duties and operates from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, without weekend work. Support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers dedicated to the hospital.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $368.50 to $435.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for patients requiring GI/Endoscopy services.
- Providing therapy and care for patients undergoing ERCP and EUS procedures.
- Collaborating with hospital staff and Advanced Practice Providers to coordinate inpatient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using the EPIC EMR system.
- Staying informed on advancements in gastroenterology and endoscopy practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in relevant medical specialty required.
- Active state license or eligibility for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERCP and EUS procedures.
- Experience with the EPIC EMR system preferred.
- Current DEA certification required.
- Up-to-date vaccination status required.
