About the Opportunity:
As a Cardiac OR RNFA, you assist with chest exposure and closing and independently perform vein harvesting for CABG procedures. While it is preferred, it is not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases. The ability to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases, including CABGs, structural heart cases such as Bentall, minimally invasive procedures like Mini Aortic Valve Replacement, and heart failure cases including Impella, is also preferred but not required. Experience in heart transplant procedures is preferred as well. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $74.25 to $87.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct chest exposure and closing during cardiac surgeries.
- Independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs.
- Collaborate with surgical teams on complex cardiac cases.
- Assist with or perform tasks in DaVinci robotic cases.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NYS RN license.
- CNOR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience.
- Proficiency in telemetry.
