About the Opportunity:
This opportunity involves providing specialized care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role encompasses conducting comprehensive assessments and interventions in interventional cardiology, particularly focusing on structural heart procedures and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting cardiac catheterizations and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Providing comprehensive pre- and post-procedural care for patients.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress accurately.
- Staying informed on the latest research and techniques in cardiac care.
Job Requirements:
- Current California RN License.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- 5+ years of experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology; expert in performing Structural Heart and TAVR procedures.
- Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as needed.
- BSN degree required.
- Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required.
- COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster required.
