About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract opportunity involves delivering specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsibilities include conducting assessments of cardiac anomalies, providing pre/post procedural care, and executing therapeutic interventions such as Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and Left Heart Catheterization. Candidates perform their duties in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Provide specialized care for cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation and emergency medications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and procedural outcomes.
- Stay informed on latest research and practices in cardiology.
Job Requirements:
- Active CAL RN License and AHA BLS & ACLS certifications.
- At least 5 years of experience in Cardiac Cath/Interventional Cardiology, Structural Heart, and TAVR.
- Ability to float to other UCSF facilities as required.
- Prior travel experience within 12 months preferred.
