About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in Interventional Therapy to provide specialized care to pediatric patients in Oakland, CA. This full-time contract position focuses on delivering comprehensive vascular access services, including ultrasound-guided PIV placement and PICC line care. The role involves collaborating with medical professionals to manage patient care effectively and safely while supporting the overall goals of the healthcare team.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct vascular access assessments and create care plans.
- Provide ultrasound-guided PIV placement and PICC line management.
- Collaborate with pediatric healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Stay informed on the latest research and techniques in vascular access therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Experience in vascular access at a pediatric hospital.
- Proficiency in ultrasound PIV placement.
- Ability to float to different facilities within the network.
- Preferred experience in inpatient and emergency department settings.
- Epic charting system experience required.
- Preferred community hospital and trauma level I/II experience.
- Prior travel experience within 12 months.
- BSN required.
