About the Opportunity:
The RN in Interventional Therapy provides specialized care to pediatric patients requiring vascular access procedures at a healthcare facility in Oakland, CA. This is a full-time contract position. The role involves conducting precise vascular assessments, utilizing ultrasound for PIV placements, and floating to other facilities as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $53.90 to $63.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting vascular assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on interventional therapy practices.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Experience in vascular access at a pediatric hospital.
- Experience with ultrasound PIV placement.
- Ability to float to other UCSF facilities.
- Preferred: Inpatient experience and ED experience.
- BSN required.
- Experience with Epic charting system required.
