About the Opportunity:
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a part-time contract position. They deliver high-quality patient care by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate patient records. LPNs also support physicians and nurses in the delivery of direct patient care. Employees work 4 twelve-hour shifts one week and 3 twelve-hour shifts the next, alternating between 48 and 36 hours weekly.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $24.89 to $29.41 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create care plans.
- Provide basic patient care, including dressing wounds and assisting with personal hygiene.
- Collaborate with physicians and registered nurses to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes.
- Stay informed on best practices in nursing care.
Job Requirements:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
