About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Director with a background in substance abuse treatment and a clinical licensure (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing our substance abuse treatment program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and comprehensive care to individuals seeking recovery.
The annual base salary range is $90,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the substance abuse treatment program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, counselors, and support staff
- Ensure the delivery of evidence-based and culturally competent substance abuse treatment services
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
- Provide clinical supervision to staff pursuing licensure and support ongoing professional development
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting staff morale and retention
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, treatment providers, and relevant stakeholders
- Participate in local and regional networks to stay informed about industry trends and resources
- Oversee the development and implementation of client engagement strategies
- Ensure the provision of individualized treatment plans, case management, and aftercare services
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate and confidential client records
- Utilize data to inform decision-making, program planning, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the program budget
- Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure fiscal responsibility
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (LMSW, LCSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)
- Current and unrestricted clinical licensure in the state
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in substance abuse treatment
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in substance abuse treatment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and accreditation standards
