About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position provides essential nursing care to residents, with a responsibility of managing a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 30. The role includes administering medications independently, as there are currently no med techs available. Before starting floor duties, nurses complete necessary training to ensure quality care delivery.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $22.28 to $26.33 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for residents.
- Provide medication administration and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress effectively.
- Stay informed on current practices in patient care and nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of New Mexico.
- Minimum of one year experience in a similar healthcare setting.
