About the Opportunity:
We offer a contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients. In this role, you deliver therapeutic services as directed by a licensed physical therapist, enhancing mobility, strengthening muscles, and improving the quality of life for patients. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.40 to $31.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and create care plans under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Provide physical therapy services, including exercises and therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress to ensure effective treatment.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in physical therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Michigan.
- Minimum one year of experience in a physical therapy setting preferred.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
