About the Opportunity:
A Medical Assistant position focuses on delivering essential care to patients within a healthcare facility. This part-time contract role involves supporting healthcare professionals in various clinic operations, ensuring efficient and prompt patient care. Responsibilities include documenting patient information, assisting in procedures, and providing administrative support as needed.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.95 to $31.85 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and documenting medical histories.
- Providing basic clinical care and assistance during medical procedures.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vitals.
- Staying informed on clinic protocols and healthcare practices.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS certification.
- Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (preferred).
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility (preferred).
- Computer literacy.
