About the Opportunity:

Provide critical emergency care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This full-time contract position involves delivering high-quality patient care during evening shifts. Manage patient assessments, care plans, and interventions effectively to meet the acute needs of patients presenting with various emergencies.

The estimated base pay for these positions is $51.15 to $60.45 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and create comprehensive care plans in emergency settings.
  • Provide immediate and effective emergency treatment and interventions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
  • Stay informed on emergency nursing practices and protocols.

Job Requirements:

  • Current NYS RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Experience with MEDITECH required.
  • Travel experience required.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Critical Care and charge experience preferred.
  • Ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Lethal dysrhythmia exam and defibrillation certification within six months.
  • IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation.
