About the Opportunity
Our client, an established multidisciplinary physician group, is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Clinic Director to oversee one of its growing outpatient rehabilitation locations in Ocean County, NJ. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys balancing patient care with leadership responsibilities. You’ll play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while mentoring clinicians, optimizing clinic operations, and helping drive continued growth.
The annual base salary range is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership for an outpatient rehabilitation clinic, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional patient experience
- Maintain an active clinical caseload by performing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based physical therapy services
- Coach, mentor, and support physical therapists, rehabilitation staff, and clinic personnel to encourage professional development and clinical excellence
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans
- Monitor clinic performance, including patient satisfaction, productivity, documentation quality, and operational metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation while maintaining compliance with organizational standards
- Foster a welcoming, patient-centered culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and high-quality care
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing new clinical team members as the practice continues to expand
- Participate in community outreach and relationship-building initiatives that promote clinic growth and patient access
- Help implement process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and overall clinic performance
Job Requirements
- Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license in good standing.
- Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or leading rehabilitation staff
- Experience managing clinic operations, performance metrics, or staff development
- Passion for collaborative, multidisciplinary patient care
