About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading fintech firm, is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Sales Executive to join their Virginia office in a hybrid capacity. This individual will play a pivotal role in growing the firm’s presence within an assigned territory, leading the full sales cycle and building lasting client partnerships that drive revenue and long-term success.
The Business Development Sales Executive will lead discovery and value demonstration, develop territory and account-specific sales strategies, and deliver tailored product demonstrations. Responsibilities include managing client renewals from proposal through negotiation and close, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and providing accurate monthly forecasts while maintaining up-to-date pipeline data in the CRM. This individual will be a strategic, results-oriented professional who thrives on client engagement and collaboration.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $110,000 (Target 180 OTE). Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end sales process within an assigned territory, including discovery, and value demonstration
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage the client renewal process, including communications, proposal delivery, negotiations, and closing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while coordinating with internal teams and resources to address client needs
- Drive ongoing client engagement throughout the sales lifecycle
- Develop and execute territory-level and account-specific sales strategies
- Build comprehensive knowledge of all products and solutions and conduct tailored product demonstrations for clients
- Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and revenue projections
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales opportunities, activities, and pipeline information within the CRM system
Job Requirements
- 5-7+ years of successful B2B sales experience in a professional business environment
- Experience working within tax and accounting
- Completed Bachelor’s degree
