About the Opportunity
Our client is a private investment firm that supports long-term value creation across a range of global investment strategies. They are looking for an Associate of Global Portfolio Analytics who will be responsible for supporting the consolidated reporting of investment results across portfolios, while providing a global view of investment performance to our executive leadership team and other stakeholders. This role will sit within the Global Portfolio Analytics function of the group’s Finance Department and will report into the Director of Global Portfolio Analytics.
The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $130,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the quarterly valuation of portfolio companies using DCF, public company multiples, and precedent transaction multiples
- Calculate performance return metrics (TWR, IRR, MOIC, etc.) for private capital portfolios
- Interface with internal financial teams in data gathering and analysis as well as external valuation firms
- Provide ad hoc support for other valuation and investment performance related requests
- Provide valuation related support to the enterprise FP&A for the AOP and multi-year planning process
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- 2-4 years of related experience in equity valuation, banking, private equity, or venture capital
- Advanced level financial modeling skills
- CFA or CIPM designation or progress in one of these programs would be a plus
- Experience with fair value measurement concepts would be a strong plus
- Experience preparing executive level deliverables
- Effective and polished communication skills
