About the Opportunity:
This Physician Assistant position at a surgery center in Greensboro, NC involves delivering advanced heart failure care alongside a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, assisting in surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and managing robotic thoracic and chest cases. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $129.25 to $152.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans for adults with advanced heart failure.
- Providing assistance in surgeries, including endoscopic vein harvesting, CABG, and robotic thoracic procedures.
- Collaborating with cardiothoracic surgeons and healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using EPIC EMR system.
- Staying informed on cardiovascular and thoracic surgery advancements.
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- State of NC medical license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery settings.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system and endoscopic vein harvesting.
- DEA certification.
- Mandatory vaccination compliance.
