About the Opportunity:
The Cone Health Float Pool is seeking a Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA, to provide anesthesia care to a diverse patient population. This full-time contract position involves working in a hospital setting, covering a variety of surgical and procedural environments including general, orthopedic, gynecology, ENT, eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neurology, and trauma cases. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures. Anesthetists are required to float and Moses Cone will be the main location.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $154.00 to $182.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct anesthesia assessments and create appropriate care plans.
- Provide anesthesia to patients across multiple age groups and surgical specialties.
- Collaborate with surgeons, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and anesthesia response.
- Stay informed on the latest anesthesiology practices and equipment, including Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring systems.
Job Requirements:
- CRNA Board Certification.
- Possess a current State of North Carolina license.
- Minimum 1-2 years of anesthesia experience in a hospital setting.
- Certifications in ACLS and PALS.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system preferred.
- Skills in hearts, vascular, neuro, and pediatrics preferred.
