About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Surgical Tech specializing in CVOR. The role involves providing surgical assistance and support in cardiovascular operating rooms for adult patients. Candidates operate within a 1:1 ratio in a two-bed setting and manage common diagnoses such as CAD, AS, and MR. The position requires fulfilling on-call duties for a minimum of 7 days per month, covering at least 5 weeknights and 1 weekend.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $43.20 to $51.05 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct surgical support and assistance during CVOR procedures.
- Provide sterile instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Monitor and document surgical procedures within EPIC systems.
- Stay informed on the latest cardiovascular surgical techniques and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Certification: BLS, ACLS.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiovascular surgical settings.
- Experience with EPIC technology preferred.
- Ability to float if census is low.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
