About the Opportunity:
This position provides anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery (excluding spine), urology, podiatry, colonoscopies, and obstetrics. The position is a full-time contract in a hospital setting and requires managing anesthesia cases and CRNA supervision. Clinic shifts are 24 hours from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. The estimated base pay for these positions are $2145.00 to $2535.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct anesthesia assessments and implement anesthesia plans.
- Administer general anesthesia across a range of surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with CRNAs and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Monitor patient responses to anesthesia and adjust care as necessary.
- Document anesthesia processes and patient outcomes in EMR systems.
- Provide first-call support during assigned shifts for the ER/OR/OB.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified if practicing more than 5 years; Board Eligible if less than 5 years.
- Active Ohio state medical license required.
- Experience in hospital inpatient settings preferred.
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
