About the Opportunity:
The Physician Recruitment Specialist provides key support in physician recruitment and onboarding. This full-time contract position involves collaborating with the in-house Senior Director and recruitment team, managing databases, and coordinating comprehensive onboarding processes.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.50 to $45.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops knowledge of the health system and regional communities for candidate inquiries.
- Collaborates with recruitment team to profile positions and develop descriptions.
- Attends recruitment and onboarding meetings and functions.
- Enhances the recruitment experience for physician candidates.
- Manages recruitment database and maintains candidate status.
- Assists in interview processes including coordination and confirmation.
- Assembles and distributes recruitment program materials.
- Plans and coordinates site visits for candidates and their spouses/significant others.
- Maintains knowledge of employment agreements and compensation to answer queries.
- Develops and improves recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Assists in onboarding activities including pre-boarding processes.
- Coordinates with medical colleges for academic appointments.
- Manages new physician welcome coordination.
- Facilitates candidate reimbursement for expenses.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Preferred experience in healthcare, sales, marketing, or recruitment with knowledge of the medical community.
- Understanding of the physician credentialing process is a plus.
- Superior marketing and public relations skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Professional and adaptable demeanor.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet research.
- Flexibility to attend meetings and work from various locations.
