About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) located in Columbus, OH. The role involves providing anesthesia services across various surgical and procedural service lines, including neuro spine, general surgery, urology, and trauma among others. CRNAs conduct perioperative assessments, develop anesthetic care plans, and manage patients in anesthetized states while collaborating with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals. Participation in quality assessment and improvement activities is included. No call or weekend work is required.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $146.72 to $173.39 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting perioperative assessments and creating anesthetic care plans.
- Maintaining patients in an anesthetized state using appropriate techniques.
- Collaborating with MDAs and surgeons regarding anesthesia care needs.
- Responding to changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions.
- Participating in education and professional development activities.
Job Requirements:
- Current CRNA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a practicing CRNA.
- Experience in general, neuro, urology, ENT, and transplant specialties.
- Amenable to working in a medically directed care team model.
- BLS and possibly ACLS certification from AHA, based on department needs.
