About the Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW Supervisor) to join a growing behavioral health program in New York City offering Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services. This leadership role blends clinical supervision with direct patient care, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on both clients and fellow clinicians. The annual base salary range is $90,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision to LMSWs, CASACs, and counseling staff
- Guide clinicians toward licensure through structured supervision and mentorship
- Support staff development, performance feedback, and ongoing training initiatives
- Help ensure smooth daily operations within IOP and PHP services
- Monitor and uphold compliance with state and regulatory standards (including behavioral health guidelines)
- Participate in program development and quality improvement efforts
- Review and approve assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
- Offer consultation on complex cases and facilitate case discussions
- Maintain a small caseload, providing individual and group therapy as needed
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including medical, nursing, and administrative staff
- Promote a cohesive, patient-centered approach to care delivery
- Support continuity of care throughout each client’s recovery journey
