Our client, a mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to serving diverse communities across the New York City area, is looking for an experienced Clinical Lab Technologist / Anatomic Pathology Supervisor to guide daily operations. The annual base salary range is $135,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple Anatomic Pathology service areas
- Support Cytopathology functions (currently send-out based, with planned in-house expansion)
- Lead, train, and mentor lab staff to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance
- Partner with pathologists and lab leadership to ensure smooth, efficient workflows
- Monitor lab performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards
Job Requirements
- Active New York State HT (Histotechnician) license required
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Anatomic Pathology
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related physical science- OR at least 5 years of equivalent laboratory experience, including supervisory responsibility
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
