About the Opportunity
Our client, a fast-growing multidisciplinary healthcare organization in New Jersey, is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join its collaborative clinical team in Middlesex County. This is an outstanding opportunity for a PA who enjoys working in an innovative outpatient environment alongside orthopedic providers, rehabilitation specialists, and pain management clinicians.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations, physical assessments, and ongoing clinical follow-up visits in an outpatient setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assist with procedures and deliver evidence-based patient care in accordance with established protocols and clinical standards
- Educate patients on diagnoses, recovery expectations, treatment options, and wellness goals to support positive outcomes
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic specialists, rehabilitation providers, physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and additional healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record system
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements that support exceptional patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on clinical findings and treatment response
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on communication, accountability, and continuous learning
- Support patients throughout their recovery journey with compassionate, goal-oriented care
Job Requirements
- Active New Jersey Physician Assistant license required
- 1–3 years of Physician Assistant experience preferred; orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, spine, rehabilitation, or musculoskeletal experience highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient environment
